ROBERT R. FRETZ, JR. is President of Fretz Construction Company. He is a graduate of Strake Jesuit College Preparatory and Texas A&M University. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science and has been employed at Fretz Construction Company since his graduation from Texas A&M in 1980. Bob is a past President and current Board Member of the Houston Chapter of the Associated General Contractors. He is a Member of the Executive Committee and of the Board of Directors of the Associated General Contractors - Texas Building Branch in Austin. He is Chairman of the Board of the Lighthouse of Houston, Board Member of the YMCA of Greater Houston, and is a Professional Fellow of the Center for Heritage Conservation in the College of Architecture at A&M University. He is a Past Board Member of the Rice Design Alliance and of the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance.
