St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church Wins
best of 2010

St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church has been selected as the Best Worship Space of 2010 by Texas Construction Magazine.  Built by Fretz Construction Company and designed by HBL Architects, the project consists of a new 1,200 seat sanctuary, 100 seat daily mass chapel, full suite of administrative offices and gathering space.

This is a monumental win for the design and construction team of HBL Architects and Fretz Construction, making this their second consecutive year to receive the Best Worship Space award, having won in 2009 for Christ the Redeemer Catholic Church in Houston.

“Fretz Construction Company is proud to be again recognized by Texas Construction Magazine for our work in the religious construction market.  The project at St. Paul the Apostle speaks to the manner in which our team builds for our clients.  We take the architect’s good design and execute with a keen eye and a great attention to detail.  Our partners at HBL Architects have produced a stunning building that met our client’s aggressive budget needs, and was constructed on schedule despite Hurricane Ike’s temporary intrusion,” said Bob Fretz, Jr., President of Fretz Construction Company.
